2010 NFL Mock Draft 3.0 – The Final Countdown

Posted in 2010 NFL Draft, Football, NCAA, NFL, Opinion, Predictions by JerryBurnes on April 22, 2010

Well it’s finally here, the 2010 NFL Draft is tonight. With that said my three months of working on my first mock draft ever could be garbage can material, or personal gold. Either way it’s a learning experience and never-ending at that. Below are the first two rounds (that’s all I’ll be doing). The attached Word document details some possible draft day trades and team maneuvers within the first round. I’ll be tweeting @JerryBurnes with draft updates and also updated picks when/if trades are made.

A lot of shake-up going on in 3.0 as some first round mainstays have slipped into Round 2. A few of them plummeted deep into Round 2. Some shake-up at the top also with a few top-10 surprises. A run of offensive tackles and corners in Round 1 really forced teams in the second to address other needs, which did contribute to some players falling. For the most part though, no drastic changes to the core of the draft.

Round 1, of course, consists of picks 1-32 and Round 2 is picks 33-64.

Sorry, that should be Mike Sims-Walker in the Jacksonville description.

Anything you’d like to add onto that? Or just that and not why? Would like to see yours.
